Tina & Adam

A Stunning Forest and Lakeside Wedding | Wabigoon, Ontario

August 30, 2019

When I met Tina & Adam over a year ago for their engagement session at Huber's Lone Pine Lodge, they shared with me how they recently took over the place from Tina's father, and Adam's vision for the ceremony site for their wedding day. In the bush lining the yard, we photographed some of their engagement photos right where the ceremony was to be held. He planned to clear it all out and when I arrived for the consult a couple of weeks before the big day, I was blown away with the results! A perfect ceremony deck nestled in the forest with the lake in the distance.

On the day of the wedding, I started with all of Tina's gorgeous details at the ceremony site. I was in awe of how amazing it looked all draped in fabric and decorated with flowers. It was truly magnificent to see Adam's vision come to life and be complete for the big day.

During the groomsmen entrance to the ceremony, Adam's brother stepped up as "flower girl" and gracefully laid petals on the walkway. It was one of the most memorable and laughable moments I've ever had the pleasure of witnessing. Tina & Adam were surrounded by family & friends as they read their sweet vows to each other. Thankfully, the rain held off for the ceremony and we only got sprinkled on a bit during some bridal party photos, but we didn't let the rain dampen our spirits. Adam, Tina & I headed into the ceremony site to seek shelter from the rain and within 15 minutes it stopped, and we then ventured out into the yard for more couples portraits.

The tent they had set up for the reception was decorated simply perfect! I loved the twinkle lights behind the head table and the cake table was nothing short of amazing! The toasts were heartfelt and sometimes long but definitely unforgettable, especially the ones by Adam's brothers & Tina's Dad. Priceless!

The three piece band played for cocktail hour and their first dances and it was so great to hear live music and eventually the guests danced the night away. A perfect ending to a wonderful day!

The grooms reaction to his brothers toast. Best facial expression ever!

It was such a beautiful and memorable day and I'm so thankful that I've gotten to know the Brugger Family over the last few years & now the Posthumus Family! Thank you so much Tina & Adam for asking me to be apart of your wedding day and I hope you had an amazing time on your honeymoon! Wishing you both all the happiness in the world and I'll see you next year, if not sooner, for other weddings at Huber's Lone Pine Lodge.

Love, Michelle
