Everyone has a story...
here is a small part of mine
While I dream of photographing elopements in the mountains, all I ever wanted to be was a mom and I would not be who I am today without my children. I love the simple life. My favourite movie is Anne of Green Gables. Though I have crocheted for many years, this winter I taught
myself how to knit and I'm also attempting to capture the Milky Way
by learning astrophotography.
I live to be outdoors. Snow is magical – I enjoy snowshoeing and being
in the extreme elements; when it's crazy windy with blowing snow or
when it's so cold, it takes your breath away. Still summer is my favourite season. I could walk forever in a field getting lost in thought or sit
for hours watching a gorgeous sunset. My happy place is underwater,
or in a canoe. This past fall, I recently found time and closeness
with God on my standup paddleboard first thing in the morning
and He taught me how to just be still.
When I was in high school, I loved writing fiction and taking pictures.
Fast forward to 2009, I photographed my first wedding while I was 6 months pregnant with my first child. From there, I branched off into maternity, newborn, family & personal branding photography.
Today, I am still a hopeless romantic and happily living my dream
– capturing real love stories.
I can always be found making memories with my kids by taking them
on camping adventures or road trips – they are my DJ's simply
driving to town. I love music and I like it loud!
Young at heart, fun, easy going, helpful, and patient.
I love to smile and have many laugh lines to prove it!
