This is my very first blog post but I'm even more excited to share these images! Last week on Wednesday, I experienced my first ever Fresh 48 Newborn session. For those that are unfamiliar with this type of photography, a Fresh 48 is a mini session that takes place within 48 hours after birth. Little Nash was born the night before at the Dryden Hospital. What makes this experience even more special is his parents were one of my 2014 couples! I had heard of Birth Photography before, but this was completely new to me and I LOVED every second of it! After the session was over, I got to hold this new bundle of cuteness for a while as the three of us visited.
After I left the hospital, I was over joyed and knew I found a new love - Fresh 48 sessions! Weddings are still my favourite but there is something so real and raw about these images and these moments are all too precious.
Being in the maternity room brought back so many memories of my two and I love being a Mom. It's the best job ever and I know these 2 are going to nail it being parents!
Congratulations Liz & Nick - I'm so happy for you both! And welcome to the world Little Nash - you are so adorable and I look forward to our next snuggle!
